I was contacted recently by a buyer interested in St. Helena Island. If you are not familiar with St. Helena Island, it is some of the most diverse real estate you'll find in the Beaufort area.
If you are looking for a large, private waterfront homesite on which to build your dream home, St. Helena Island could be the ticket. Large waterfront tracts are available, and, as you might guess, prices are as affordable as they have been for years.
If you are looking for a gated community with stellar amenities, St. Helena has that as well. Although largely rural, St. Helena Island is home to some of the finest planned communities in Beaufort County -- Dataw Island, Polawana Island, and Bermuda Bluff, to name a few.
St. Helena is renowned for its waterfront properties. Polawana Island is one of the best deep-water communities in Beaufort County, while Dataw Island features two Pete Dye golf courses, and unparalleled amenities.
St. Helena also features some very nice rustic communities, like Coffin Point, Dulamo and Land's End. Coffin Point sits on St. Helena Sound, while Land's End overlooks Port Royal Sound, and Hilton Head.
St. Helena Island sits between historic downtown Beaufort, SC, and the Atlantic Ocean. It is a large barrier island, threaded by countless creeks and rivers. St. Helena Island is located between Port Royal Sound and St. Helena Sound.
The beaches of Hunting Island are an easy drive from just about anywhere on St. Helena Island. Hunting Island features some of the most unique beaches in the country, and is the most visited state park in South Carolina.
Don't hesitate to let us know if you need more information on St. Helena Island, and thanks for visiting, as always.
